I'm pretty sure the OP is more or less about that...or why bring the internet into the discussion?

I read the article as well. The guy seems anxious about extremists, like the then future cop-killer, posting jubilant posts over a murderer, as well as people actively calling for violence (such as the would-be bomber mentioned in the article). And it evidently worries the people in charge of the anti-cop/whatever sites, to the point where the only "censorship" was performed by them of a post on their site.
And I still don't see anyone, the OP included, calling for censorship.
