Toy Story 3
My son is two and loves it. But seriously, I've suffered through this movie more times than I can count. We've tried weaseling in other G-rated films, but he always reverts back to this one.

LotR, all 3 extended editions, over the course of several days.

I still think Jackson did a terrific job, and this is coming from a major LotR geek. I did, however, forget just how angsty Frodo was in these movies.

The Muppets. I got it in the mail from Barnes & Noble A DAY EARLY :p. If you get the Blu-ray, hit "pause" during the movie and leave it there for about 30 minutes of Easter eggs.

And something about the "fitting in and finding my people" theme hit me the right/wrong way and I cried for most of the movie.

My friends were flipping through channels drunk on St Patrick's Day, and we came across a horror film called Albino Farm. It was alright...

John Carter, for my birthday on Saturday.

Much better than I was expecting from the deplorable trailers. it was only through the positive reviews that I finally took the plunge to see it. Worth my time and money.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (David Fincher) I've been a busy college student and haven't really had the time to see a movie since Christmas. It was pretty good, when I get back home I'll see the Swedish version since I've been informed we have them now.

On that note I've finished "The Girl who Played with Fire" :)

Last Saturday night my husband and I watched Gone With The Wind on a Netflix disk.
Make that TWO disks, since it was almost a 4-hour movie.

This was the first time I had ever seen this classic film. I knew a lot of the famous lines, but had never actually watched the movie.

Watched a movie called The Beaver. Terrible, terrible movie. Let me just say that as a jew, I care very little about Mel Gibson's opinion of jewish people. It's his acting that's downright offensive. I do think Anton Yelchin gave a very good performance, though. He's been stellar in everything I've seen him in. Definitely think he's really going to blow up when he gets the right role in the right film.

Too sick to go see John Carter, but we're getting ready, watched:

At the Earth's Core
The Land that Time Forgot
The People that Time Forgot

all ERB, all delightfully cheesy, all with Doug McClure...

The unholy hot mess that is "Smurfs".

My eight year old LOVES this movie. Children shouldn't be allowed to treat parents like this.
