HEAR PAND / ORA BOOG / IEROLLBDH RRYFSYDS

*song / artist sans band / nickname of artist
*song and nickname in theme
*the song is a contradiction to the artist's nickname and was his only commercial hit nationally
*another of his songs can usually be heard in New Orleans during certain festivities
*the artist has been inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
*a very well known international artist, who by the way shared with three others a themed nickname in the 60s, recorded a B-side song dedicated to the scramble's artist (he may have winged it)

Thanks! I'll be back later, but if anyone else wants to puzzle-up, please do.

(I have to help the girl-child with a dolphin life-cycle diagram. When I looked that up on google images, I found a couple examples. Apparently, the dolphin life cycle consists of adult dolphins kissing, which very quickly leads to baby dolphins, who then grow up to do some kissing of their own.)

*the character's iconic coif carries the theme this time
*as a former gang member, it could have been hard for this actor to find parts but he actually had bits in a few classics

So close... I was thinking "Aerial" by my friends Gravels Knife (an actual song and the letters *DO* fit) but they don't have anything to do with a duck butt and the singer (my friend Scott) actually did write the song so the clues don't fit.

WELCH PIT / SNOOZER DUDES
- group / group
- second group, formed after the breakup of the first, recently re-formed (sans original drummer, who died not too long ago)
- first group's name is theme-related, with a phonetic spelling to reference their country of origin
- if a lot of people experienced the symptom described by the first band name, then the second band name might describe the situation at the hair salon!
- the prime mover of both bands has a surname more fish-related
