I'm with pdr; I can't talk much about things I'm in the middle of writing, or they lose some of their sparkle. But I'm currently in revisions of:
Title: Exquisite
Time/Place: Chicago, 1893
Brief Description: Evan MacAllister is a thief with an insatiable appetite for diamonds and pretty women. He makes near-perfect forgeries of diamond jewelry, and then absconds with the real pieces. When his crimes began to catch up with him, Evan finds himself at the Chicago World's Fair, blackmailed by two thieves to replicate and then steal the canary yellow Tiffany Diamond. Will Evan cave to the blackmail, knowing that he wants the diamond for his own collection? How will he throw his two blackmailers off his scent? And what's the deal with the camel? Complete with an actual mustache-twirling villain, a crime boss named Marvelous, and a young pickpocket with a penchant for disguises.
