Hi all,

Is it pointless saying I am a nerd? Does poet cover that maybe? Should I brag about my uni degrees or something?

I am interested in gender and social justice and fighting my arch enemy which is neoliberalism. I hope that doesn't win me enemies before I have even posted a single poem or anything.

I used to have more time to write poetry. I am not brilliant but I am still growing (or that's how I reassure myself) I might write a thesis one of these days. I also write short plays.

That's enough self-disclosure for now. If you want to know more you will have to get to know me (as I'll get to know you from your work)

Welcome. I wouldn't worry too much about making enemies. As long as you're respectful in sharing your political views, you should be fine. Also, from browsing the Politics and Current Events sub-forum, I would say you'll have a lot of company in your views. So even if you make some enemies, you'll make even more friends.
