how do you guys track your queries. I'm thinking about a spreadsheet. I know there are some sigtes out there that are easier but I A) can't remember the names and B) like to be more hands on.

I use Sonar, a free software created by a AW member. Love it.

I just use a simple Excel spreadsheet. I also have columns to indicate when I've sent the contract back as well as the cover art request forms because I'll forget about them otherwise. :D

go to QueryTracker.net, register and use Patrick's awesome service! You can find agents and keep track of everything. Many agents have notes and all have various websites and other references to help you.

I use a spreadsheet, primarily. The problem with Querytracker.net, which is an excellent service, is that he doesn't include all the agents I am interested in. I do use it as a secondary resource, mind you and enter my statistics there.

Patrick uses certain criteria in determining which agents he will list, and while I understand his restrictions, it does result in some perfectly ethical agents being excluded.
