C'mon peeps, like I need more things to keep me awake at night.

That's what the internet was designed for :tongue

Well, that and porn. /end Avenue Q reference

Seriously though. Is there anyone alive w/ net access who hasn't spent at least one night scrolling through some archive or other? I'd like to meet them. And bow down before them, actually, and ask what the hell their secret is.

Not where you last saw me.
I want not to feel the need to shower again. Or spray an entire can of Raid around me.

:D Weel, my apologies in advance, then. Years ago, our vet showed me how to remove ticks by . . . tickling them. Not. kidding. here. That's what he called it. Use your index finger to gently rotate the tick in a circle very fast. It'll back out. THEN, you set fire to the sucker! Works like a charm, every time.

Heh. There's a definition of that...

(and I normally find myself reading through hundreds of pages of TV Tropes or browsing the Cracked archives - only occasionally venturing into webcomics as they eat up a LOT of time)

Jesus, BW! I'd managed to stay OUT of TV Tropes for several weeks! Talk about dangling heroin in front of a junkie!

You say that NOW, after I've got seven tabs open.

Damn you to kiltless hell, BW. ;)

I'm lost, guys. Send up smoke signals so I can find my way back, and if you don't see me in a week, send in the EMT's.

I like bubbles. :D

Zoe has a little toy lawnmower which blows bubbles. She tries to catch the bubbles though - doesn't end well, especially when she gets one in her mouth...

Well, thank you for trying to help at least.

Oh, and you read my brain again, are you sure you're not spying on me. AtCT written. I think I might get into trouble for this one.

I have magical surveillance cameras that stretch across most of a country an entire ocean and straight into you room.

...nope that didn't sound creepy at all. Not At All. :D

Raid won't help at all. Need something with DET and that stuff is toxic.

Think I'm just gonna buy BW a big bubble to live in. Problem solved. :D

Your avi, I luvs it. :)

Y'know, I've often wondered why the very things which ought to be killed easily due to their small size and annoying ickyness (like cockroaches) are the hardest to kill. This is pretty much nature laughing at humanity, saying "nyah - you think you are so smart, huh?"...

*hides in bubble*

*cuts small hole in bubble and sprays the room with DET*

You do know they make flavored bubbles, right?

My favorite are the banana ones :D

Go Kricket.

I am actually just finishing lunch so I have been listening to Stephen King - I managed all of my lunch this time.

I have got to a point in my SFF challange where it's just a heap of a tangled mess. I know it won't sort itself out if I dn't go work on it, but right now this minute I am doing my best avoidance technique.

Yeah, no, this is me. I've actually got an idea now, but that means I have to go and rewrite the first half.

urgh.

Whoa! I have just seen the most terrific picture. I hope this works.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-18564186

Hmm, no, not quite. If you follow the link, you need the second picture along. It's not the man in the pic, it's the shop behind him.

Guys. It's supposed to be SUMMER in britian. What have you done to the place? I swear sometimes that it's warmer here in winter (well, maybe not right here, because we're below the snowfields, and you can feel it), but I think melbourne might be warmer than you guys atm.

Remind me never to move to britian. *shivers by proxy*

Ooooh - you must all go check out Google. Now. Alan Turing's birthday is being celebrated by a digital recreation of an analogue computer thingy on the main page.

It.

Is.

AWESOME.

You know, I never realised that google timezoned itself till you said that, because that was up yesterday for us. You learn something new every day.

I don't have High-Def TV, but I suspect that, no matter the image resolution, the programming will still be the same crap.

On the subject of, you know, girls and their representations in comics and video games - my brother is trained well. :D I'm sitting here next to him while he plays lara croft and his most recent comment was on how it would be handy to have leg covering while crawling through a rocky cave. Even, you know, skin tight leg coverings. Cause you can still be sexy and avoid legs and ass checks scraped away to raw skin and bone.
