Aw, that is too bad, Taylor.

GAH! My Act 1 grew from 16K to 20K and I still probably need to add in another 2-3K to expand some scenes. Some stuff will need to be axed...

Hi! Revising sounds pretty fun right now actually. I'm good thanks, just been super-busy with school stuff. I had to go in this morning to help out with interviews, then I'm back this evening for a drama thing my friends are putting on. You wouldn't think it was the weekend ha...

On the bright side, it's supposed to snow this afternoon/evening which is exciting :D (Yes, I'm still a ten year old inside...)

Hi :) Wow, 100k is amazing. You must be a really fast writer! When you revise, I'm sure you'll find a lot you can cut out so I wouldn't worry too much. Personally, I think it's better to write too much than too little.

I have the opposite problem. But a lot of people write just the bare bones then go back and pad it out after and it works great for them. Divergent by Veronica Roth was only 40k in the first draft and by the final draft it was around 100k I think and that's a great book imo.

I can't wait to get to revisions, even though I hate them. This book needs A LOT of help but I *think* it has potential. We'll see.

I know what you mean. I need to rewrite the ending of F.R.E.A.K.s... difficult thing is the ending i have now has been planned and set in stone since i was 14!!! I cant even think of how it could end any differently...
