Tally! That's what outlines are for.

I officially have 11 beta reads for people. Dear lord I am going to die.

I have a spreadsheet that I made a year ago! Only problem is I haven't worked on it in six months and I left off mid-scene.

A lot can change in six months, Thalia, so it might be better to revise it before working on the spread sheet again?

I vanished too, and I'm feeling an little clod footed here :p
Oh wow, eleven betas, Ari? I had four last time and I started to lose track of things. Not that it affected my superior editing skills at all, cough cough.

Yup, 11. I think a few of them should be uber-easy though, thankfully. Purely line edits on one and I think just general impressions for another.

I'm soon heading to bed. I have a notebook by my side, in case I have an idea in my dream, like last night, and I'll be able to jot it down. hopefully, an idea comes to me, because I'm very blank, at the moment. Well, except for one thing that could be expanded.

I usually get ideas about story settings from my dreams. I never get to write them down though because my most vivid dreams usually happen when I'm out of my element, like right before an exam, or during a night camping in the wilderness.

As long as you can manage, Ari, then it's all good. I personally really like betaing because it gives insight into someone else's creative process. Peoples methods really do differ! Also, it's a great way to keep thinking editorially and creatively while taking a break from your own work. :)

I think I can manage. I was amused earlier, because I told my friend, "Oh, I have 9 fulls and 2 partials" and then realized I was using industry phrases. Felt like an awesome agent for a moment, lol.

Today just go seriously awesome. oh my gosh .

My grandparents friends(who I barely know) just called me and asked if I want their (used) MacBook Pro because they're getting a new one.

*happy dance* I'm getting it tomorrow. I've never had a Mac.

~I will have two computers. Hell yes.~

Mine's only a year old, which is why I'm not getting rid of it.

When I mentioned it was a Mac, my brother almost hit me (he hates them so much).

They said they have programs for it, so I 'm really hoping they have Scrivener.

Also, I need to think of a name for it. My current laptop is named Bradford. :D

Lol, nice. I don't really care either way for a Mac. I don't really hate them, but I'm used to windows and it always does the job find for me.

I've always used Windows, so I'm kind of hesitant to start using a Mac. Windows is all so... homey.

I'll probably just use the Mac for writing, anyways.

I prefer Windows too. I've just grown up with it, and the interface is more comfortable for me. I do wish they wouldn't force me to update my computer every single time I shut down (I mean, what the hell am I updating anyway? I never really know).

Aw, Zoealea you named your laptop? That's so cute!

Yeah, I'm in the same situation.

Almost every single person I go to school with owns a Macbook Pro though. It's incredible.

I am perfectly happy with my pearl pink Windows laptop :D I'm not a huge fan of Apple. Which is why I have a Zune and not an iPod.

I named my laptop as well. He is Morris. Actually, I name all of my electronics. My phone is Clovis, my mp3 player is Ellis and my external hard drive is Quinn.

My old laptop's name was Spock. I named my school laptop R2D2.

ETA: BG, I am still around. I don't have my phone with me, though, and I'm too lazy to walk down to my dorm to get it.
