Hi all, I'm Lloyd Christensen and am new to AW but I've been writing in some capacity for over 15 years. I've had some trade journal articles published, basically war stories for my part of the I/T industry. A member of my local writing group in Texas is the editor of a small, tourism related publication and she ran an article I wrote a few years back on the "Time and Memories Trail," a hike and bike trail in Granbury, Texas.

I've got a couple of novels in varying stages. I finished my first draft of the first novel three days after being laid off from a job in 2004 and sent it to an editor for review/critique. She very kindly said it needed a lot of work.

I've since written a lot and taken several courses. I'm wrapping up another novel. This one, Sunrise Caye, will be the first I try to find an agent for. I think it's time.

Looking forward to getting to know folks out here and learning more.

Welcome aboard! You'll find plenty of people here who are willing to help you out; some are published pros, others are just beginning, and many are in between. Good luck with your latest novel; I hope you can find an agent for it and that it brings you great success. Again, welcome!

Welcome to AW. Hope you enjoy your stay with us.
How do you like your popcorn?

If you go to the bottom of the page to the ‘forum jump’ you can scroll down and find all the areas of this place. Most of the SYW areas require the password of ….vista. A word to the wise, (50 posts), it would be a good idea to participate first in helping others before you think about posting your own work. After you have been around here for awhile, then post something of your own for help. Good luck.

Welcome Lloyd. I'm new too, drawn by the praises of another author. She credits her CP and Beta for making her ready for print. I'm looking forward to creating new bonds with other writers, sharing our skills and words.
