The title pretty much sums it up... But I'll elaborate.

At some point, I want to record my own album. Me on all the instruments. Okay, so that's a long way off (I don't even own a bass guitar yet!) but I was wondering...

Considering I can't play gigs (I don't have that many arms) then maybe I could release my songs/album onto iTunes or somesuch equivalent.

Can this be done? Is it just like self-publishing a novel on Amazon, only for music?

I was just curious at this point.

Thanks in advance. :)

I just posted my first song ever on SoundCloud. They include the ability for you to link to a location to sell the music, but don't offer the service themselves. I'd be interested myself in how to do this.

(my song, if anyone cares, is here. It's Lord of the Rings related)

Nice. Gotta love Lord Of The Rings references. :tongue

SoundCloud... What's that, anyway?

<-- total newb.

Well, hopefully someone will come along and tell us if we can self-publish our music for money.
