Greetings Gadget Gurus.
I'm looking to buy a new monitor. I could really use a square one for writing. Unfortunately they only make them up to 19 inches and that's not quite enough.

21 would probably due. I'd like to be able to get a good portion of a Word document page on the monitor. A 19 incher would probably get me about 2/3 or less, which is still pretty decent. Alongside of writing, I also could use a wide monitor in a way for Excel spreadsheets. I really don't care much for them though. Yesterday I seemed to have found a solution: a swiveling monitor. They make swivels that can rotate any monitor from landscape to portrait.

Using one I could swivel a wide screen monitor and turn it into one that could accommodate an entire word document page which would be this side of awesome! Windows 7 which is what I have allows you to swivel the screen on your monitor >>control panel >> adjust screen resolution >> orientation >> portrait. It works like a charm. The mouse doesn't work though. It kinda just goes up and down. I looked into how to fix that and there really isn't a straight forward way. There's a registry file (HKey) that can be switched: 'FlipFlopWheel' setting to 1 or 0.

But I don't really want to start messing around with that. Is there some solution to the problem? Thanks!
Here's a monitor that swivels. I wonder if it would solve the mouse problem?
