A few months back there was a feature on the questions and answers page (where the public send in questions and historians answer them) where someone asked why Great Britain has a Royal Navy and a Royal Air Force but not a Royal Army.
I thought the reply given was good but incomplete so I sent in a supplement to it. And the magazine published it.
