I just installed a free trial of scrivener for Windows and unfortunately has the bug with RTF parsing error. As a result I have to rename the rtfi.exe to prevent it from running, causing error in the application.
Now my scrivener is working fine, but without the rfti.exe it was said that the application will not recognize a file with invalid format when importing, that can cause another crashing.
My question: what exactly is the invalid format mentioned above? Will a file made in ms.word (doc, docx) possibly have invalid format?
