Oh hello there. So I'm new.

Hello! I've been lurking on this site for a long time and often glance at it for references and information. I'm a writer who hopes to someday be able to call herself an author, and I figured it was about time I joined. ^_^

Right now I mostly write Middle Grade and Young Adult. I'm on my way to becoming a teacher, and I find it's easiest for me to write when I picture my kids and the sort of stories they would want to read. So far my stories have all been fantasy, simply because that is the genre I love best.

I also love art and have a wall of my bedroom filled with art I drew based on my stories. I find waking up and looking at that every day really inspires me to keep writing.

Anyhow, I've very excited to have joined at last. So yeah. Hello people!

Oooo. What level do you plan to teach at? Elementary? Secondary?

I'm aiming for elementary but am also taking certification exams so I'll have the option of Middle School Language Arts teaching as well.
