Hi everyone! I guess this is where I go to introduce myself. My name is Gracie, and currently I am a college student working toward my BA in English with an emphasis in Creative Writing. Washington State is where I call home. I read a lot of YA lit, and my current favorite author is John Green. I like to write short stories and some poetry, and I've tried to start a couple novels but have never been able to finish anything. Someday!

This looks like an awesome community, and I am excited to be a part of it! :)

Take a wander around the various forums, there's lots to see and lots to learn, and even some fun threads too. Come along and pop on over to the Traditional Irish Pub (at the top of the Newbie forum) and say hi, there's plenty of friendly faces that you can chat with and lots of banter. There's also the Question of the Day threads at the top of the Newbie forum where you can answer random questions.

Don't forget to read the newbie guide, and if you want to know what all the buttons mean check out this thread.

I've only been to eastern Washington once, I went camping at Lake Chelan last year. Not sure if I would be of any help, but feel free to ask me any questions you may have!

Greetings and salutations. The closest I come to YA is the notes I wrote for my oldest when she missed school, though some might call it fiction as well.
