Meaning

a little something i just sorta winged. critique honestly but construcrively please:

We look for meaning
But what if the meaning is finding that there is no meaning
Someone once said that this thought it freeing
I do not feel free
I feel shackled to the confines of purposelessness
What kind of world is this

Is this the easy way out
Maybe I'm not looking hard enough
It could be under a rock or in my socks
Or in the pocket of my jeans
On a post-it note i wrote
Some three four years ago

Is it out there
Wherever there may be
Or does it not exist at all as it all too often seems
