not here, I swear
My part of the Netherlands is about to flood (not a scary, tidal wave flood, just your average rivers and canals being unable to hold the water and LOTS of wind).

So my presence may be sketchy. :)

Oh dear Ten pls take care!

I am super-sleepy today. Didn't sleep well last night at all. Blurry-eyed and sorta out of it. Blargh.

Lately she seems to be a bit... wrathful.

Is that a direction she should go with?

:D

Perhaps Pinkie Pie going Postal?

Bah. I grew up listening to Tom Glazer's On Top of Spaghetti album which included that classic....

Great green globs of greasy grimy gopher guts
Mutilated monkey meat
Itty bitty birdie feet
Great green globs of greasy grimy gopher guts
And me without a spoon!

Ah, childhood!

We used to sing that song when I was in first grade. So much fun!

Stay safe, love!

This looks like good news to me, in the long run, if it gives them an insight into the colony collapse problem that's been out there. Like when they finally figured out the white nose syndrome in bats was a symptom of another infection and not something new in and of itself. Means there is hope for the bats and the bees after all.

Of course. What else would they be called?

:D

That Giada chick has a mouth that could skim krill from the ocean... all she needs is the baleen.

And I've been up since 3:30. I do not see a whole lot of enthusiasm in my day.

10: isn't your country known for the story of the little boy putting his finger in the dike? I hope it doesn't come to that. Stay dry!

Also - irritating cat is irritating.

...on my pirate ship.
Good morning!

Oh noes! I've killed the Cantina!

Have I mentioned that for the last two days, my office at work has smelled exactly like what I would imagine someone boiling leper feet in old milk would smell like? And that someone else messed up the building air-handler system and one of the units froze solid (it was 6degF/-14C here this am) and blew all its pipes and flooded the entire basement? Good times.

That sounds...pleasant. :(

That's crazy. Also yes, awesome book idea, especially for someone who, you know, knows a lot about bees. :D

Zan - You could always open a window or two, let the basement freeze, and turn it into an indoor skating rink.
