I just realized that Tuesday is Valentine's Day. Does anyone have any plans? Me, I hate Valentine's Day. For some reason nearly every year husband and I are fussing at each other on that day. I have no idea why. :evil

No plans. :( It's lonely being a dragon.

Take her some candy or a rose, AC. No canned fruit. ;)

Let's not get carried away. She only gets canned peaches for her birthday.

The boy will probably have to work, I'll spend the time with my other love, chocolate and my WIP.

I have a news flash. Before drinking orange juice out of the carton, be sure you've got the right carton.

Half-and-half is delicious!

Although I like it better in my coffee.

We might get some snow tomorrow. Not much, but maybe a little.

We have a theory in Nashville that the grocery stores bribe the TV weather people to call for snow. Then everyone rushes to the stores to stock up for the coming ice age. "We could be stuck in our house with no way out until . . . until nine o'clock . . . when it gets above freezing."

Customer (in packed food store during a snow storm): Wow! It's crowded. I thought everyone would wait until tomorrow..."

Me (inside my head so I don't get fired): You mean like you did?

It's entirely possible I blink it out in Morse Code...just before the person buys something they didn't know they were missing out on...

I made the mistake of going to the grocery store the day before Thanksgiving one time.

Never again.

Where does that insatiable urge come from to hit the grocery store as soon as you hear the word snow?

ah...kickbacks from the food industry to the local weathergeeks perhaps? And we can't forget the paper providers too!

Those weather-forecasters ought to be rolling in it! :)

Sadly, no blizzards here in Socal. But when it rains I like to take long naps and drink too much coffee. Yeah, those two don't really go together.

You can sympathize with Duchessmary when it rains.

"I'm freezing! It's sixty-eight degrees in San Diego."

A few years ago they scared the school people so much they closed the schools early. Then the DOT salted the roads.

It hadn't even snowed. And it DIDN'T snow, although it sort of looking like it did, what with all the salt on the roads.
