It could be that we're one in the same. It could be that the muppet is pouting because I gave his place under my bed to the dog. It could be that I've been on busy doing secret work at an underground base in Colorado. Or, it could just be that I have absolutely nothing interesting to say these days.

I had a weird dream myself last night. First, it was my sister's bird with a hurt foot, then it turned into my cat that disappeared a few years ago and he had hugely over grown toenails. It was weird.

Sadron - I'm not sure what you mean about self-pubbing. If you publish a book, you are an author. Will you be as high profile? Only if you are totally awesome at self-promotion. There's a huge number of self-pubbed stuff out there.

Speaking of dreams, I had a weird one last night too...

I was dropping Mr. Hunny off to work, when we stopped in a convenience store for some aluminum pie pans.

Then, the scene turned into a babrershop and there was a very attractive young woman in there wearing only her underwear (fancy, lace bra and panties).

Nobody (the men) seemed to notice her or were "distracted" by her but me.

Weird, I tell ya.

Well, you're a writer if you write something. Van Gogh was a painter even though he never sold a painting.

Will you be considered a "published author" in the publishing world? No, not really.

Things are changing due to the Internet and other factors, but self-publishing fiction is still not considered being a published writer in the traditional sense, at least in the US. Most bookstores here won't even carry a book that is self-published. You can order it, but they won't carry it in stock.
