Fascinating story. Thanks for posting it. More and more it's beginning to appear that there exist a whole spectrum of celestial bodies ranging from planets to stars, with every variation between. It seems quite likely that there are "rogue" planets out there, bodies that formed without being attached to any stellar orbital system, and extremely difficult to detect. No good reason for such things not existing.
