We'll have to microwave it first.

And then boil it.

I'll take mine cold, please.

Feels like it's still in the 90's here and it's after 10. :/Record high temps for Spring. 98 today.

Also we are having an invasion of moths of biblical proportions. Todays headline. Experts say that our winter wasn't cold enough to kill all the ones from last yr off, so now we have last yrs and this yrs moths to deal with. But a week of our high temps is suppose to kill them off.

Birds are happy, my kee kats are happy, but a lot of people are not so happy about the moth invasion. I personally don't care, better than an invasion of spiders, bees, or wasps.

It's been a little on the cool side here for the past few days.

As invasions go, I think you lucked out with moths.

I saw this show where this family's house was invaded with ticks. They poured out of the walls.

I think ticks are my least favorite thing in the world. Even less than muppets.

They eventually moved. But this was after they gassed this house with a gas so powerful it corroded and warped everything they owned, but still didn't kill the ticks.

If they had enough ticks to be crawling through the walls it was time to burn the house.

It was military housing. I've seen houses for enlisted members (officer's housing is always amazing) and they look like they have been used for more than a few families. But in this is case, I hope they demolished it.

I have a 10 and a half hour shift tomorrow, I may not make it. The six hour shifts almost kill me. It would be different if I could take my pain meds, but then I'd be sleeping on the register. Wish me luck.

NF, this is unacceptable.

Doesn't your boss know what you are going through? Does he need a Syd-Smackdown? He is well on his way to getting one if he doesn't start treating you right.

While I was in the hospital, people had to pull double shifts and extra hours, now that I'm out it only seems right that I do the same. Just not sure I'm up to it, yet. :e2bummed:

It seems too soon. And if he works you too hard now, he'll just be in the same position when you get sick again. Grrr Stoopid managers.

He hired three other people, so I'm not even sure why it's necessary to have one person pull an all day shift, but if I complain he'll just send me home early and then cut all my hours. That won't be good either, not with all the bills I have. I think I'm just going to take it easy most of the day. It's order day, so that's not too bad.

That was a story on the TV news the other day about a woman who had donated a kidney to her boss. A few weeks later . . . the boss fired her.

Well, be careful. Get rest (yeah right) and eat/drink plenty.
