YA is awesome.

Tally, are you using Scrivener to write a draft? If so, is it as good as people make out?

I'm using it for my rewrite of MAAH, and so far, it's pretty great. I'm very good at technology type things, though, so I had no problem figuring it out, whereas some people might.

I meant in terms of scenes and chapters and skipping things, you know stuff like that? Have you added pictures? I can't remember if I need to put them in a folder yet. *is going to look for pictures as soon as she has names for the rest of the MMCs*

Hummmm i need to figure out my bad guys name... I was thinking Elliott Wylie, and everyone calls him El. But i feel the name lacks fear and toughness... but well it would make sense with his background... or maybe he changes his last name after the downfall... hummm now i have to ponder...

Elliott Wylie (or whatever I'm going to call him)- Denise's boyfriend.

I don't want to burst your bubble, but that could mean something good, or it could mean "Okay, I've received your email, I'll get back to you soon!" The trick to querying is to take everything at face value and try not to read into anything.

I'm pretty sure all of you have more dating experience they me. Quick question (since I've never technically been on a first date) Is being asked to lunch a date? Or just like hey want to have lunch sort of hang out?

Jesus, Lisa. I'm kind of at school :tongue

No, I haven't done pictures yet- haven't felt the need to yet, 'cause all my pics are plastered on my wall. I'll give it a try, though.

ETA: Ally, anything can or can not be a date. You have to interpret it yourself- and it's not necessarily a problem to ask "Like, on a date?" That's the greatest sentence around: it really doesn't give away how you feel about the idea either way.

Lisa, I have made character and location profiles with pictures, and it's very cool.

Oooh. That sounds epic, Tally.

Ally, I have no dating experience.

If you like this person, platonically or romantically, say yes, and figure out what's up while your there, what kind of vibes he's giving off. Generally, you can gauge their intentions.

ETA: Then again, take what I say with a grain of salt. I'm famous for leading guys on, intentionally or not. :tongue I just really like it when people buy me food! I'll bat my eyelashes for ice cream or tea, too. I'm a terrible person.

Thanks, God at almost 22 you would think I wouldn't be freaking out so much at the idea of a date.

I really feel like that's what I'm accidentally doing to a few guys right now, even though I already informed them I'm only looking for friends. I just feel bad not responding back to nice people.... which i'm worried makes me a horrible person, because i dont want to lead anyone on... hell i dont even know how to do that on purpose. I don't even know how to flirt!

Yeah i you cant already tell the whole dating thing is really freaking out, I missed out on that whole normal phase in my teenage years, so I'm sort of really nervous.

Don't be nervous. You have the right to be friends with as many people as you like, you have the right to like or not like whomever you want, and you don't owe anyone anything. The kind of guy you want is a guy who will respect that- and if someone has a problem with that, you don't want them in your life, anyway.
