Mostly I Google actor's names - and add the word 'shirt-less', or 'sexy' after it. They just present themselves
And the photobucket image was from DES. I just thought he had good taste in provocative reppies

As I've mentioned earlier, please do not hot-link pics on AW from other sites.
I've gone through the last few pages of this thread to delete the offending images, and I have a long way to go to complete the task.
It's giving me a headache.
In the future, if anyone notices someone sharing images that they shouldn't, it would be helpful if they'd give the person a heads-up before I have to clean up the mess some time later.

er...how do you recognize that someone's photo is a hotlink?

I mean, doesn't this link look like a hotlink? But it's from Photobucket, so evidently it's not hot. I'm confuzzled.
Yeah - usually hot links are larger images because there's no way to size them down. At least that's the only difference I ever noticed.
You have to click the Photos. Hot links won't have a photobucket, dropbox, what-have-you address.
They'll be directly from a site.
But still - I never think to click the image and check.
@Night - I Photobucket everything I post here, so you don't have to worry. THe only thing is I usually snip picks after a while just to save bandwidth

Yes, that's correct. When you right-click on an image and select "View Image Info" near the bottom of the list, you'll see where the image is linked from.
I don't expect anyone to moderate this thread for me. It's my "job," after all. But if you notice someone who is hot-linking images to AW, whether it's in this room or anywhere else, it would be helpful to simply mention this FAQ to the person, which I've linked to previously.
Also, it's worth noting that threads which feature mostly beefcakes and/or beefpies are usually frowned upon when they become an excuse to swap photos. So it's in our best interest to at least attempt meaningful discourse in this thread, while also sharing images that move us beyond words.
