Big kitty just threw up in hubby's gym bag.

I first read this without the 'in'

I wondered when you started raising tigers in your house

Sian, give me a few to get dinner started and boot up the bigMac.

Gais... I think I might be sick. :( I'm hoping it's just something I ate not agreeing with me.

He's a very big kitty, but not quite big enough to eat a gym bag. :D

Ugh, hope you feel better soon. :( :Hug2:

*sigh*

We are trying to have all the peoples healthy, happy and uninjured, and you go and get sick?

Get better soon.

And don't spread the infection... :)

Good to know, Bugz.

Alright, SS assignments are nearly all handed out. I'm pooped. Time for bed.

Quick question, feel free to ignore if you want to: In the fantasy genre, is the whole "person discovers portal to magical parallel world" thing absolutely done to death by now?

That... is actually a really complex question, and would require a thread of its' own to go into fully, but - simplifying things heavily - no. For a more detailed answer, you are gonna have to identify which of the portal storytelling techniques you are interested in writing. I have two very different portal stories on the back-burner at the moment, and they can be infinitely entertaining. :)

I love portal fantasy, when it's done right. I'm working on a sort of variation of that right now.

Neverwhere is the portal story I'm about to curl up with.

Also, my budgie just had an arguement with some parsley.

Can he be an honorary Cantinaite? ;)

My theory is that any story that is well written is worth reading.

Regardless of tropes or market saturation.

New Years Day dinner is always the best, especially when there's Oreo pie. :D

Big kitty just threw up in hubby's gym bag and managed to hit All The Things. Was hilarious. Hubby was not super amused.
Eww.

Oh noes! Stomach ailments are the worst. Feel better gina!

Has a prompt. Stupid spam filter tried to hide it from me. Now, what to write. Putting pieces together. So excited.

Prayers for all of those that need them for illnesses.

And for you Junely. I told you so! :p

BW, it occurs to me that eventually your sig will be nothing more than a foot long list of abby quotes...

But...she gives me such great material to work with.

Half the time I am unsure of whether the innuendo and insinuation is meant to be there. And it is funny. Rule Of Funny trumps all. :D

I really, really hope this thread isn't gonna turn into an analysis session. I hate those. Next thing I know, you will all be trying to get stories of my dysfunctional childhood out there, or ponder the significance of certain words and phrases in my posts...

High school is hell.

So is waking up at 1am all the damn time.

So. BW. Tell us about your childhood. Did your surgeons whip out their brick sized cell phones while operating on you?

Ps- surgery and the cantina are not compatible with keeping a medical license. Just sayin
