I don't know. I did okay with Inheritance and I've never read Lord of the Rings. I think I'll save GoT for this summer when I have more time and energy.

I can't stop listening to Darren's songs from this week's Glee...THEY'RE SO GOOD.

I've been putting off finishing the last LotR. I need to finish it, but when I start to read, I get bored :(

I don't know how people can live here for the whole year.

I don't know how I do it, either.

I live on an island where it doesn't even get cool AT NIGHT.

Seriously! I'm out for dinner last night, outside, next to the water, 10 PM, in jeans, and too hot. Florida was cold compared to here.

Back home, usually summer temperatures don't go higher than fifteen degrees. We're lucky if we get a day where it's in the twenties.

So Floridas temperatures being up in the thirties is something I am not used to.

In Montreal, our weather usually hits a low of -40 in the winter and a high of 40 in the summer.

Hello, peeps! Sorry I keep disappearing. I should be able to hang around more often!

I have a new WIP I'm working on. A modern Cinderella retelling in the guy POV where the guy is poor and the LI is rich. It's called THE WAY TO THE HEART which is based on the saying that food is the way to anyone's heart. My MC is a live-in chef for a family for the summer. He tries to win over the oldest daughter with his food, but she's a picky eater and apparently hates all the meals he prepares. But eventually, he finds out she was pretending so that her parents don't note she's into him when he's not the type of guy she's expected to be with. Then the summer romance starts. There is also an old Italian guy as a sort of fairy godfather hehehe

Thanks, Tally!

I'm 1.5K into it and about to dive into writing more. If I write 1K/day for the next 46 days, I should be able to finish it. 1K/day is totally doable for me.

I just wrote the inciting incident with the fairy godfather. I'm almost to the part where he goes for the interview to see if the family likes him and his cooking. So excited about this :D

Guys, anyone got any surname ideas they can throw at me? I'm drawing a total blank.

I'm bad at throwing out surname ideas. But I do suggest http://surnames.behindthename.com/

Also, I'm good. Writing! Just wrote 2.4K so far today. 2K of that within a 1.5 hour write-a-thon :D

And now I'm off to write some more!

At my friend's party. It's very fun, except I just got my period five minutes ago, I have a murderous headache, and the fact that I only got 3 hours of sleep is taking a huge toll on me.

So I might leave soon.

I would probably leave if Iwere in your situation . But I'm that kind of person - I like to be alone.

Ugh. So many WIP problems right now. I'm on overload.

Ally, sounds like fun. I love late night parties.

Yeah it was. And they all thought i was some awesome MVP bowler, because i have my own ball, and shoes.

Then i bowled a 179 and they thought i was really awesome. heheheeh. Being the one who is usually the worst at sports, it felt good to be the best for a change.
