Always Carry A Business Card.

I was at work this afternoon, minding my own business, and a delightful woman came to my little corner of the world. We made small talk, which turned to write talk, which turned to a connection.

Wouldn't you know it? She's a local author and publisher.

In what world do I get that lucky? She was so responsive and encouraging, even offering to read my work and help me hone my skills.

It's true, what Momma said: Always carry a business card.
