Good evening, well, it's evening here in Western Canada.

My name is Ethan Jones and I just joined AW. I hope to find lots of information on how to be a better writer. I write in the suspense genre, working on my second and third book. No agent yet to represent my works, but I am doing my best to find one.

Well, nice to virtually meet all of you.

Ethan

Greetings Ethan (just had a flashback to Mission Impossible here and Ethan Hunt :) ) and welcome to the watercooler. You could try posting some of your work in the Share Your Work forum (the password is vista) to get some feedback on your novel. You'll find some of the advice there invaluable. The critters don't all bite over there, but it would help if you brought them some cookies :D .

Two sites that you may find useful in looking for an agent are www.querytracker.net and www.agentquery.com. You may also want to take a gander at our very own 'Ask the Agent' subforum which has Jennifer Laughran as a guest agent answering questions in this thread. It's very informative and useful, plus you can ask her specialised questions.

Oh and before I forget, don't forget to check out Jed's Super-Dooper Newbie Question of the day, http://absolutewrite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=122193.

The new Question of the Day is on page 2 in post 30
