I love the classics (Asimov, Clarke, Heinlin etc). They really got me hooked on the genre. But I also have a soft spot for Orson Scott Card's work.
I'm actually in my second year as a Dance major! Complete opposite side of the artistic spectrum from writing fiction, but I love it!
A dance major! How awesome. I was a theatre major once upon a time which is not really the opposite of writing fiction, but is perhaps the opposite of being a dance major. We were all really awkward and you folks are always super poised.
My dad loves sci-fi and he devoured Asimov. I've only read a bit of his work but what a writer!
