Apparently solar radiation management is viewed as even more dangerous than just letting things heat up. Some have suggested that it be outlawed or even that it is as dangerous as nuclear weapons.

I'm sure the Founding Fathers would have protected the individual right to solar radiation management.

And of course, if it is outlawed then only outlaws will be managing solar radiation.

I remember this episode from Futurama.

You mean where there's love radiation?

As in:

They vaporized into a mystical love radiation that spread across the universe, destroying many, many planets, including two gangster planets and a cowboy world. But one planet was exactly the right distance to see the romantic rays but not be destroyed by them: Earth.

Between there and there
No, the episode where they put a giant mirror over the earth to deflect the sun's rays and stop global warming. The mirror got hit by a rock which turned it into a laser beam that cut an auditorium in half.
Turns out global warming was the fault of the Professor because of the robot design he created expelled a vast amount of CO2.

So the inhabitants of earth decided to destroy every robot, but then the robots saved the earth from global warming by firing their exhausts all at once in the same place in the same direction and it somehow thrust the earth away from the sun just enough so that the amount of CO2 in the air was balanced out by the increased distance from their star.

That show seems to have been as worried about global warming as the UNCC framework meeting group.
