Words:
200 on the vamp rewrites.
50 on plotting the new book.
Goals:
Revise the vamp book to kick-butt level and query, query, query (by end of January the latest).
Revise the fantasy for the small pub that requested it (need for February).
Revise the mystery for the Awesome Agent that requested it (soooo overdue).
THEN work on the tantalizing WIP.
MAIN GOAL, springing from Reflections:
Land a LEGITIMATE agent with a PROVEN TRACK RECORD of sales.
Acceptable, Mistress?
Exquisite. You may have either chocolate or the whip. But, before you choose, the chocolate is cheap stuff left over from last Easter.
This past week:

2 subbies.
2 acceptances.
1 held for second read.
Goals - short stories:
Subs--2006 - 1, 2007 - 7, 2008 - 28, 2009 goal - 36.
Acceptances--2006 - 0, 2007 - 1 (paying), 2008 - 4 (2 paying, 1 royalties and 1 n/p) - 2009 goal - 4 paying including at least one pro-pay.

Other--keep writing and submitting humor articles, 'cause they're fun to do.
Beyond my wildest dreams. You may put your foot in the bear trap...or you may have some of that cheap chocolate I mentioned.

Goal for next week 1200wrds
Still that is good. Tell you what, you can whip the turnips and dip them in some of that chocolate I was discussing with Haggis.
My pillow doesn't reflect- I'll chime in when I can pick my head up off of it.
Ok. I have this egg-mc-muffin that I bought yesterday and didn't eat. So, I'll soak it in this wine, and I'll let you decide what to do with it.
But otherwise, your goals are usually set high, so I won't suggest that you try to share the chocolate.
AS for me:
Well, early last year when I was struggling to finish 'Shivas' DL told me that Nora should be evil.
Then, when Haggis read 'Deciding' (which is pre-'Shivas') he said Nora should be evil.
So my goal this year is to make certain, in 'Four' that Nora fulfills all of the hopes and dreams that DL and Haggis have for her.
I also plan to finish writing 'Four' To Send 'Deciding' to the Amazon contest, seriously sub out 'Shivas', and when I get the final rejections on a couple of short stories...turn them into a horror novel.
And write at least the first draft of a sword and sorcery thing.
Oh...and next week...you all better report early and often, because I have a surprise......
