The Christmas Book Vouchers Thread

Like many of you, I guess, I received a number of book tokens for Christmas, so I thought AW members might use this thread to garner recommendations for their 'purchases'. On that note...

Can anyone suggest a book for me? I tend to read ghost stories (Susan Hill's 'The Woman in Black' is a favourite) - does anyone know of a good, recent ghost story, please?
