Hello all. How are you? I'm new to this site and a little nervous. Since I started this thread, I'll mention a little about myself: I finished my first novel (YA/NA) and gingerly sending bits to agents.

Don't be nervous! I just joined too! It's addicting like pistachios - can't eat just one. Good luck with the agent search!

Hi, Eddie. I'm a relative newbie myself.

I write YA, but I have to admit, I'm not sure what NA stands for!

Welcome to AW, eddievandalay! :welcome:

You've made a fine choice of writing community. AW is the best there is on the nets, imo, full of awesome people and invaluable information. Yeah, it can be a bit intimidating at first, but it's well worth the effort to acclimate, and i'm sure you'll find it won't take you long to do so, either.

The Young Adult room might be a good spot to start your AW surfing. :)

See you around the boards!

I welcome you too to AW.

I'm a little bit nervous most of the time but we nervous people get encouragement along the way around these boards.

So don't worry about it

NA

Hi Wizera.

NA stands for "New Adult". From what I've read about it, it's a relatively new version of YA where the characters are in their late teens and/or early 20s and dealing with mature themes like sex and adulthood. I hope that helps.
