Ooh! Just what I've always wanted! I love you, Night!!!


I signed the lease for my new apartment today! Its so pretty and perfect and CHEAP! Its in a newer, nicer building than I'm in now and almost 250.00 less a month. I <3 it!!!

Oh, and even though its only 10:30 am, I'm eating fried chicken and mashed potatoes. They put it out when I was grocery shopping earlier and the smell was sooo good, I just couldn't help myself.

Fried chicken in paradise.

It was payday today. My first payday from the new job and the first non-unemployment-related payday in 7 months. I have meat - and a rotisserie chicken for dinner tonight. I paid half my outstanding rent, talked to my landlords, repaid a small loan that helped me get through the last 3 weeks, and filled my car with gas. I am now going to drink too much beer. Life is now better.

My take home pay today was 2/3rds more than I made off unemployment and about 65% better than I made a week at Walmart. And I'll get that every week as long as I can keep this job.

Yes, life is better now.

You have meat. You're going to drink too much beer. You no longer work at Walmart.

I'd say things are good, yes.
