Mmm... pizza...

NOM!

And Kelly, if there really is a job opening for nudist yoga mediums, I'm so there. ;) Of course, I'd have to learn yoga, and learn to talk to the dead, but they offer on-the-job training in that stuff, don't they?

*bounces into thread*

Good morning, house of beach balls. :)

I have so missed y'all! I've been working like crazy for the past two days and using all my spare time to finish the kiddies sweater I've been knitting. Although the daytime temps have been very mild, the night and early mornings are bitterly cold and the children's home have been clamoring for sweaters.

I finished the latest one at 1:30am and I've just come back from dropping it off at the old age home (the ladies there are the knitting circle that supplies the kiddies homes). Wow. I wish you could see the amazing sweaters, beanies and scarves these women make. And so quickly, too. I found out today that three of the knitters are blind. They knit big squares, in garter stitch, and one of the other ladies sews the squares together to make blankets. Totally awesome!

Sat Nam! (literally "Truth Name"--a Sikh greeting)

Oh, Gail, the Cape honeysuckle is in bloom here. It's my favorite South African plant transplant to Southern California.

Waving...

Blessings,

Siri Kirpal

Sat Nam. :hi: There is nothing nicer than Cape honeysuckle! The house I grew up in, in Cape Town, had honeysuckle all over the wall in the backyard. The scent in summer was heavenly. Sadly, it doesn't do too well in Jo'burg as the winter frost bites it back every year.

Did you know that Agapanthus and Clivia are indigenous to SA as well? The Protea, too. But I'm sure everyone knows that. :)

I think he wants you to bring him a camel back so he can fornicate with it.

*Perverted Jazz Hands* :D

*shocked jazz-hands*

The sex-life of the camel
Is stranger than anyone thinks,
In the height of the mating season
It will even fancy the Sphinx.
Now the Sphinx's posterior passage
Is blocked by the sands of the Nile,
Which accounts for the hump on the camel
And the Sphinx's inscrutable smile.

:D
Hahaha! You're all so funny when you let your imagination run wild!

You ain't seen nothin' yet.

:D

Hope you all have an awesome weekend!

I am so confused! It's Saturday here in the Gulf. As Friday (the Muslim Sabbath) is the equivalent of Sunday, then today should be like a Monday. But it's not!!! From the looks of things, it's another Sunday!!!

So, while the rest of the world has the weekend as Saturday (last day of the week for play) and Sunday (prayer day), over here it's:

- Thursday (last day of the week for play)
- Friday (prayer day, like a Sunday)
- Saturday (family day, day off, like another Sunday but without prayer)

So off I go to the mall to battle large crowds, like I did yesterday

Rise and shine! Up and at 'em.

Let's get those Saturday morning chores done. Then we can misbehave.

Oh no Susie. I thought Howie was doing better. :Hug2:

It's hot. It's only 72 but the humidity is about 78%. I should complain. It was 115 in Vegas, 120 in Phoenix. Yikes.

Thx much, Duchess. His wound is doin' better, but he has pain and his other ailments aren't so good, so it's still worrisome.

So hope Ana's test will be neg. jude and she can join you guys. :Hug2:s
'ey, all, It's hot here too, but gee, those temps are awful. Let's think cool. :) :Cake:s!

Strangely enough, we have having relatively mild weather (for summer). Highs only in the 80s for the next seven days. The high tomorrow is forecast to be only 81.

Thanks, everyone! :Sun: Little Ana is well and healthy and getting to know her new brother.

It's been an adventure. Kale is larger and more aggressive. It's going to work out. Right? :scared:

It will work out - but the older kitty 'may' take on the responsibility of teaching the kitten how a cat is supposed to behave...

That can get noisy, and look kinda scary. =)

Sure. Brothers and sisters always get along perfectly. Look at your own two children.

Hey, at least the cats won't make wiseacre comments about your cooking.
