What do you say, gang? Porter's avvy is getting to be more than I can bear. It's already more than he can bare.

Can't you just throw a burlap bag over the whole thing?

Maybe the muppeh is afraid he'll self destruct with his next post.

On third thought, nevermind, he did that a LONG time ago...

Thanks, reg.

*chest bump*

So this must be where I get the keys to the secret liquor store!

I mean, I'm not a newbie anymore!

And I've been carrying haggis around in a basket for the last 1,000 posts or so and that's got to count for something!

*clamps cigar between teeth*

*lights self on fire*

ETA: And look! I'm unbearably cute!

*sets self on fire again*

So, yesterday my daughter came home to school and said, "I have to go to prom." (For those of you who don't know, she has Down's Syndrome and her speech is limited.) I asked her when prom was and she said, "Tonight. Have to go. I'm queen." I asked her where and at what time and she just shrugged. So, I used my Google-fu and found out that it was, indeed, prom night and we had about an hour and a half to prepare.

Somehow, we pulled it off. An hour after we got there, she received her crown. She was on cloud nine. (Not just because of the crown, but because a very popular boy who was there to assist the Life Skills students by encouraging them to interact and dance spent the entire dance with her. She crushed pretty hard.)

So, here is my five minutes of Mommy Bragging.

Adorable.

*cuddles tiny kitten against her ample cleavage*

On another topic -- Haggis? Reg? Won't one of you pleeeeeeeze shmoo Porter? I...I just can't look at that avie any more. And now he's in my PMs, too. I'm terrified to go down to my laundry room, for fear I'll find him there.

Please? Do something? For me? For all of us? :e2cry:

KLM, that is such an awesome story! :D Made my day.

ETA: You helped her pull off such a great look in an hour and a half? I vote you Mom of the Century! She looks fantastic and so happy!

It was a pretty awesome night for her. I don't think her morning will be as fun, though. I'll be spending the next hour trying to get the tiara she slept in out of her hair without using scissors.

That's brilliant, Fred! And she looks even purtier than I did when I was queen!

Seriously, that's an awesome photo.

But make sure that dude knows the no funny business rule, m'kay?

It wouldn't take too long for uncle vito to get to him.
