I was reading this thread at the Making Light blog about spammers hiring shills, and I followed this link to a post on Absolute Write where I found a rather disturbing kind of spam. I tried to reply in order to criticize it, got an error, then went to the profile page of the poster and re-searched for the thread, which led me to the sub-forum the post originally appeared in, where I saw it had been deleted as spam.
Is deleted spam supposed to still be visible like this? Will google and whatnot still pick up that post? Is this a legitimate bug in the system, or is it just a one-time occurence?
