Today the polls in Tennessee opened for early voting, two items caught my attention:
The ballot list Obama first and then McCain – they decided to use first names, so Barack come first.
The polling place was a school extension building, which had no less than sixty Obama signs, but not a single McCain sign, stuck in the grass in front of the polling station. When I questioned the posting being so close to the polling station, I was given a smile and a shrug.
They looked at the voter registration card only - they did not want to see any other ID (e.g. drivers license, etc.).
*sigh*
Make me wonder why I go through the process.
