As always with music, it's next to impossible to narrow favorites down to just five, but here's what I've got:

1. The White Stripes
2. Collective Soul*
3. Cat Stevens
4. U2
5. The Goo Goo Dolls

*This is a relatively new love of mine which, in turn, has bumped others off the list:D, so I feel compelled to list Styx as an honorable mention, since they are one of my all time favorites.

Chances are they'll try to make you bring it down to 5 total Chunky.

Here are a few suggestions:

1 - The Josh Groban Genesis
2 - The Stinging Beatles
3 - Freddie Mercury's Supertramp
4 - Yes to Celine Dion
5 - James Pink Taylor Floyd

They don't have to make sense. Just have to cram them all in there somehow.

The Moody Blues
Sarah Brightman
Chris Rea
Françoise Hardy
Pre-Saturday night fever-poker up the @sses Bee Gees... Their mid to late 1960s and early 70s stuff, when they could actually sing properly and not as if they have their LPs playing on 78 rpm :D

The group has to be "the Beatles" with one exception, two if you count "Yellow Submarine" you can listen to anything they ever produced.
Male lead in a group "Freddie Mercury" on pitch alone.
Female vocalist "Karen Carpenter" Voice as smooth as a 12 year old bottle of scotch.
When I need a mood, "Nat King Cole" turns it on.
Singer I wish I could have got to know and listen before she left us, Janis Joplan.

With the exception of the Beatles this list could change on a moment's notice.......
