Title says it. Mine are connected to songs in the UK.

Band - Song:

White Town - Your Woman
Men Without Hats - Safety Dance
Men at Work - Down Under
Shampoo - Trouble
The Vapors - Turning Japanese
The Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band - I´m the Urban Spaceman

Martha and the Muffins - Echo Beach (just came on my itunes, how could I have forgotten that one?)

Okay, I´ll leave it there for now.

So what about y´all?

That thing you do (Oneders/Wonders)

I know it's not a real one-hit wonder, but it's my favorite.

LOL it's funny because a one hit wonder in the US can be a hugely successful act in Europe, Asia, or even world wide. So these are USA one hit wonders for sure ;).

A-Ha - Take On Me
Rockwell - I Always Feel Like Somebody's Watching Me

And I don't know if it was a hit but I luv Booby Trap by The Dickies. So catchy!

Beyond that I'm a Headbanger's Ball and 120 minutes girl, and the pop songs mostly didn't get play :p.

Yeah, the Dickies -- they did a funny version of Nights in White Satin as well!

Martha and the Muffins - Echo Beach
Fantastic song. It's kind of a shame they never had more hits (except, in a minor way, Black Stations, White Stations or whatever it was called) -- this band was really, really good.

And who could forget C.W. McCall, and Convoy?

I'm Your Vehicle -- Ides of March
Dear God -- XTC (I think)
Feels So Good -- Chuck Mangione
Moscow -- Genghis Khan
The Final Countdown -- Europe
All You Zombies -- The Hooters
Shaddap Your Face -- Joe Dolce
Sign of the Gypsy Queen -- April Wine

Also, the aforementioned Head East, Rockwell, and Men At Work. I've owned and enjoyed Head East and Men At Work albums, but I can only remember the songs named here.

4 In Legion will never again have a song as popular as "There's a Party in my Pants (and you're invited)," but I strongly suspect that never got any radio play outside of Tampa, Florida.

And as Dave Barry would say, I am not making this up.

Transcending Canines
This one played in Fuddrucker's just last night (they play the music loud there):
Blues Image - Ride, Captain, Ride

I peeked at the Lyrics World site, it appears that a good percentage of top 40 songs are one-hit wonders.

This one sounds quite Beatleish (well, a good bit of '60's stuff sounds Beatlish, but this one a little moreso):
The Knickerbockers - Lies

Here's one I only heard on the radio maybe once if at all, and of course it was a college radio station.
Bloodrock - D.O.A.

Sign of the Gypsy Queen -- April Wine
Sorry, but I have to throw a flag on that one. April Wine was huge for a couple of years. Just Between You and Me was a major hit, and they had a couple of other big ones, as well. That was in the U.S. They had even more success in Canada. Btw, I love April Wine, so don't get me wrong, here. I felt it necessary to defend them from the label "one hit wonders."

:)

And another band of a similar nature is Triumph. Definitely not a one hit wonder, but with a very similar chart history.

:D I had to look up the singer of Pop Muzik and it showed Marcus, or maybe I'm so tired I typed the first name that showed up. ;) I love Kids In America. I use to blast it singing at the top of my lungs. Great song!
