I've seen this on very old posts, and I assumed it was because they were originally posted when the board was on a different server, or after being restored from archive after a crash.
Say Posts N/A because they were imported into the vBulletin database three years ago, from Easy Board, a different forum application. Some of the data can't be easily carried over -- like the number of posts a user had; hence for MacDonald, on that old post, it says "Posts n/a."
