AW. A very nice place!
I've tried to use the search tool, several times but get this message each time:
The search term you specified (new) is under the minimum word length (4) and therefore will not be found. Please make this term longer. If this term contains a wildcard, please make this term more specific.

Just now I tried looking for 'The New Yorker Magazine,' in the forums. Am I doing something wrong? I tried the Advanced Search tool, too, and specified both thread titles & posts. Thanks, and feel free to delete this thread if the answer is something obvious.

I recall a similar question to this not so long ago and dpaterso answered but I can't find it. Thought it was going to be made a Sticky somewhere.

Have you tried putting the search phrase in quotes?

ahh, you're right.
When I put the term "New Yorker Magazine" in quotes it works.
Thanks Bufty!

Unfortunately we have so many FAQ threads that they're hard to find. :)

This one is in Tech Help forum > Frequenty Asked Questions (FAQ) sub-forum (I'm just including it here for future reference):

Search Problems? - won't accept words < 4 letters
