To Cray: 1986 was a good year for Aqua Net.
To Rob: You pluck the tail feathers and use them to stir the sauce.
Also to Rob: What is it with you and cheddar?
To Haggis: You have my deepest sympathies.

Just to clarify, I'm ignoring all of pd's posts. Therapy's too expensive.

I thought you'd be in therapy already for what you've been doing. I think they'd give it to you for free with that extreme of a case.

So you write fantasy?

Reasons why 1986 rocks:

1. People didn't run around with their underwear showing above their waistlines.
2. Wearing a thick coat of shelac in their hair saved millions of women from head injuries.
3. Grunge hadn't made its way around yet.
4. Top Gun
5. A gallon of gas cost $0.89.
6. Who's the boss? No one knows.
7. No one had ever heard of Kenye West.
8. Sixty-Minutes was still on the air.
9. Trench coats were awesome.
10. I was fourteen.

Ahem.

I have a couple of things I want to share with you guys.

On my way over here to Germany, I was delayed at Brussells train station. I passed the time drinking coffee next to a store that sold nuts. It had a big sign on it that said:

Oh! My nuts!

Then...the other day, we walking along the road just outside of here, and we saw this German family pull up in one of those family van things that had 'Super Three Way!' emblazoned across it.

Hallucinations can be the result of a severe vitamin B deficiency.

In a hole in the dark in a cold cold place
Klem thinks 1986 rocked because she missed 1966 to 1976.

Real Rock

When people weren't painted black; they mostly were painted bright colors
Disco was a Frisbee game
Cars were made out of metal
Cars actually had style
No one had heard of a PC and actually went out for something to do
Everyone got laid...Even Haggis.
Everything was groovie
Gas was 25¢ per gallon
LPs sound better than CDs
Real music
We had government on the run...damned 80s kids blew it.
Drafts were 25¢
You had to be home to answer your phone...which means no one got mad if you didn't answer.
Walmart hadn't yet taken over the world so normal people could still own a retail store.
Route 66 was open —Cruisin' USA!! And gas was 25¢ gallon so you could afford to go back home afterwards.
There was no such thing as classic rock...it was just rock
I met my wife
Children could still walk to school alone.

I wanna go home. :e2cry:

I can agree with these...Though I was 11.
BTW, Must endorse Weird Al's new album. It decidedly destroys a certain cross dressing idiot who thinks she can sing... No, wait, Miley doesn't cross dress...

Anyway...
