Finally finished!

For five years, I've been working on Book 3 of my Draconia series. Since it's set back-to-back with Book 2, I've been holding that one back so I can release it with minimal wait time between the two books. And, to ensure continuity.

But, Rehatching (Book 3) is now finished...finally! My longest single piece of work at nearly 120,000 words. Of course, that might get cut down a little during edits. But now, it's full speed ahead!

My goal is to get Fractured Dream (Book 2) out on e-book by September. Rehatching by October. But definitely, both books should be out before the end of the year.

Thanks, everyone. Trying to think of what to do to celebrate. Maybe I'll go get some ice cream.

I thank my main characters for that. They just wouldn't let me give up. Also, the reviews on my first book on Goodreads. Reading those always gives me a morale boost.

Well, I didn't make my September and October goals, but I will make my End-of-the-Year goal.

Fractured Dream and Rehatching already published on Smashwords to be launched December 15 and January 1, respectively.

I'm committed.

Yeah, I'll ask my nephew about re-vamping the cover to Book 1 after I pay him for the last two.

Actually, this coming February, it's going to be 10 years since I first conceived and started writing this series. I was looking for something special to do. Maybe issuing Book 1 with a new cover would be something.
