And talking of bright sparks - what's happened to the muppet? (Ever since he got that bike he's hardly here. :( Cycling all over Jarminy?)

S. Ackley!

It's also a holiday here today - Pfingsten Montag, which is Catholic Pentecost or Whitsun, or whatever it's called.

Anyway, we're doing loads of pfings, like walking the mountain paths and cycling the forest paths and yodeling and wearing our best summer lederhosen and drinking beers and eating ice creams.

But we've run out of gin.

Gah!

ROAR :D

Hello all

As we read so often about coffee here, I thought I'd talk about tea. My friend handles the publicity for Twining's tea so I got invited to an event at the British High Commissioner's residence in Singapore. Splendid old colonial bungalow along S'pore's most prestigious residential roads.

In my next life, i want to be a high-ranking diplomat for a wealthy country which probably means not the UK by then. I don't want to be a tea seller.

Good idea, Duchess. I hadn't thought of that.

What kind of gin for the muppet? Those Brits, even those living in Jarmany, are very fussy about their gin. The Tanqueray type won't touch Gordon's who won't touch Bombay Sapphire who won't...

By the way, we have 4 bottles of Bombay Sapphire in the fridge, all filled with water. Will that do, Rob? :D

What if we just shoot the muppet?

That would solve the problem completely.

I bought a Memorial Day bag of Cool Ranch Doritos. In my defense, this is the first bag of chips I've bought for me in months!
