Hi Wow, 100k is amazing. You must be a really fast writer! When you revise, I'm sure you'll find a lot you can cut out so I wouldn't worry too much. Personally, I think it's better to write too much than too little.
I have the opposite problem. But a lot of people write just the bare bones then go back and pad it out after and it works great for them. Divergent by Veronica Roth was only 40k in the first draft and by the final draft it was around 100k I think and that's a great book imo.
I know what you mean. I need to rewrite the ending of F.R.E.A.K.s... difficult thing is the ending i have now has been planned and set in stone since i was 14!!! I cant even think of how it could end any differently...
