A 3 year old? Wouldn't you be carrying her or at least holding her hand through an airport? I don't understand. Maybe if the child was 12 and you thought they were all behind you. But a 3 year old makes no sense....
I left my 12 year old at the drug store once. I ran in to get a prescription for my mother and quickly left. When I got home, my other daughter said, "Where's sister?" ....Yikes!
I hurried back to the drugstore and there she was, still looking at all the makeup an such. She never even knew I forgot her. LOL Unfortunately the others told her and now she brings it up occasionally - telling people about the day I left her at the drug store.

Yeah, I don't understand leaving a 3 year old at all. Even my seven year old if we're in a super crowded place, or heck, even wal-mart, I make everyone hold hands and I am constantly rechecking to make sure they are there.
