It hasn't happened to me since I was 12---but it happens to other people.

I use to have gal pal i use to play pool with named Chris---and she got mistaken for a guy a lot. She always took in stride.

I made my name non-gender-specific for a reason. At first glance, you can't tell I'm female, just from my name, nor my signatures. If I want people to know I'm of the female variety, I let them know or they can find out from looking at my profile. However, a lot of pervs have passed over my name when they troll on a site (something that has been a problem on a couple other forums... not heard anything about it on here, though) and I get no unwanted private messages.
