Hello -- newbie here, clearly!
I've been lurking around the site for the past few weeks. I'm rather shy, but thought I'd post a newbie intro anyway. (Mostly I've been stalking Bewares and Background Checks, as I'm dealing with the soul-crushing despair of the query-go-round.) Everyone around here seems very kind and knowledgeable, which is fantastic.
I'm mostly a fantasy-writing type of gal, but I'll read (and enjoy) just about anything. I just finished up my MFA and am getting back to my dayjob while I try to make a go of the writing career thing.
