Hi,
I've completed my first novel, a science fiction thriller, and am ready to look for an agent. I only have a couple of short story credits to put in a query letter, and one of them was for a paying erotica publication. Is there any reason why I shouldn't include this in my letter? Would any agent look down on this kind of writing? The novel itself has no erotica elements in it.
Also, my other writing credit is with a non-paying, though well-known and long-running, science fiction webzine.
Thanks for your help.
